I have enjoyed much success through the Dollar Academy Pipes and Drums, and became the Pipe Major of the band in 3rd year and I am now entering my fourth year as the lead piper.
The band have won the last eight Scottish Schools CCF Pipes and Drums Competition, in which I have played in six of them and have been Pipe Major for the last three occasions. We have also had great success in the Glasgow Highland Club, Scottish Schools Quartets Competition and George Watson’s Minibands Competition.
Over the years I have played in and had success in several Solo Competitions, including winning the Scottish Schools Solo Piping and the Stirling Mod – and have been placed in many more.
Coming to the end of my school Piping, I have joined the Argyll and Sutherland Highlander’s and have recently played with them at the British Championships, in Belfast.
I have piped at many Burns Suppers, Weddings, Formal Dinners, Corporate 
Events and other engagements, and can tailor a performance to suit any occasion or venue.
